Wesley Benson cast in BCT production of "Mamma Mia!"

Wesley Benson has been cast in the role of Sky in Buckhannon Community Theatre’s upcoming production of Mamma Mia!

ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

Since 1971, Buckhannon Community Theatre has been a cornerstone of local culture, born from the passion of Buckhannon-Upshur High School students and their vocal music teacher, James Knorr. What began as a summer project to keep musical theater alive has flourished into a vibrant, year-round tradition. In 1972, BCT officially became a non-profit organization, dedicated to bringing "Broadway-style" shows to the community.

Mamma Mia! will be performed at the Colonial Arts Center in Buckhannon, W.Va. in July.
